EU support programmes in the field of Higher Education are being implemented in Azerbaijan since 1995. Tempus,Erasmus Mundus and Jean Monnet are now parts of newly started (from 2014) Erasmus+ programme.
Tempus
Tempus is the European Union’s programme, which supports the modernisation of higher education in countries surrounding the EU. From 2014 Tempus will be replaced by the Erasmus+ Capacity Building programme. Azerbaijan was participating in different Tempus projects since 1995.
